- Key result: 300K+ users, top-ranked World Chain app
Consumer App Suite: research-led product discovery and rapid, low-cost app development.
The client knew they wanted to build consumer apps on World Chain, but had no starting point: no validated idea, no product direction, and no internal expertise on what would actually resonate with the World App user base or where to focus their limited budget. Rather than a single build request, this was a discovery problem: figure out what to build, then build it well, cheaply, and fast.
The client had already spoken to a couple of generalist dev shops who quoted a build without ever asking what they should build. We were chosen because we led with research on World ID integration patterns, MiniKit constraints, and which app categories were underserved - and because our low-cost, shared-component build approach fit a team that needed multiple shots on goal, not one expensive bet.
A small cross-functional pod shared across all app builds, with the client involved in every prioritization call.
1 Product Manager / researcher, 1 Business Analyst, 2 full-stack engineers, 1 Backend Developer, 1 Designer, 1 QA Engineer - shared across all app builds.
Weekly opportunity reviews with the client during the research phase, so they were part of every prioritization call.
Rolled straight into a lightweight advisory retainer post-launch, with async check-ins plus a monthly metrics review.
To hit a one-month timeline across multiple apps without inflating cost, we built on World App’s MiniKit SDK and standardized on a shared internal component library and backend template. Authentication, World ID verification, and payments were built once and reused across every app - so each additional app only required its unique feature logic.
React/Next.js Mini Apps built against the MiniKit SDK. World ID integration for Sybil-resistant onboarding, avoiding the bot/farm traffic that skews early consumer metrics.
Lightweight Node.js services on serverless infrastructure to keep hosting cost near-zero at low-to-mid traffic, scaling automatically as usage grew.
Shared PostgreSQL schema patterns and Redis caching for feed/leaderboard-style features common across the app suite.
Tech stack: World App MiniKit SDK · World ID · React/Next.js · Node.js (serverless) · PostgreSQL · Redis
We treated research as a deliverable in its own right - not a preamble to building. The client got a ranked set of validated opportunities, each scored on demand signal, build complexity, and cost, before any code was written.
The shared-component architecture is what made the one-month, multi-app timeline possible on a tight budget. New app ideas became configuration and feature work on top of a proven base, not full rebuilds.
Post-launch, the same research discipline continued through the advisory engagement, using real usage data (retention curves, drop-off points) instead of guesswork to prioritize updates.
Opportunity research, competitive analysis, idea validation and prioritization.
Shared architecture setup (auth, World ID, backend template) and build begins on first app.
Parallel build across the app suite, feature integration, internal QA.
Final QA, polish, and launch on World Chain.
The client went from no product direction to multiple live apps - one of which became a top-ranked app on World Chain - in a single month, generating at least $100K in profit and $50K in Foundation rewards. The shared backend kept infrastructure cost under a few hundred dollars a month even past 300,000 users.
